Cataract Surgery
The lens is the second most important lens of the eye and is located inside the eye. As its name indicates, it is a transparent structure through which the light rays that go to the retina have to pass. Cataract is called the lack of transparency of the lens no matter what its cause. Strabismus Surgery
What is strabismus?
It is any deviation of the visual direction of one eye in relation to the other, from a binocular vision perspective. Generally, it presents in childhood congenitally or acquired in the first years of life. If there is no timely treatment, amblyopia can occur in children, that is, lazy eye.
In adulthood, all sudden-onset strabismus, as a first condition, produces diplopia, that is, double vision and must be referred immediately, because in them it is necessary to rule out pathologies of a central cerebral type, such as tumors, vascular problems or of origin metabolism such as diabetes.
The other large group is strabismus of traumatic origin, they must also be referred immediately, since the vast majority of them are surgically treated.
